Squeezing Time

As I've said before I love coffee ... it doesn't have much to do with today's topic about squeezing time but some days I wish for more of both.

I had the pleasure of spending time with some of the best persons on the planet, writers, editors, agents. For almost four days at the ACFW conference I got to meet some really talented and nice persons and learn a whole lot about the craft of writing. Time seemed to move slower for those days. Isn't it funny that when you're enjoying something time seems to expand to fit your needs?

Yet, on any given weekday, time seems to roar by as fast as a morning drive-thru line at Starbucks,  frenetic and rushed. We can't make it go any slower or faster but some of us do try. I'm guilty, of it as well. Try to squeeze in one more thing to do during the day.

Maybe if we all learn to relax, grab a great book, and a handful of something sweet or salty too, time won't seem all that important to us. Instead we can be in the moment, the one that He's created just for you.
