Weekend read-Among the Poppies J'nell Ciesielski

Beautiful, heart-wrenching wartime romance

Set during World War I, J'nelle Ciesielski, pours a beautiful story of love, heartbreak, friendship and rekindled faith onto the pages.
Gwyn is a strong-willed woman of meager means who longs for adventure. She doesn't have time as a medic, and ambulance driver for any romantic relationships. Fearless Captain William Crawford has an eye for winning the war for Britain, and he won't let things stand in his way. All changes between the bitter, hard-packed earth of the battlefield.
This novel read like a movie, I could feel each ping of the bullet and soft embrace nestled in the pages.

I'll be looking for more books to read by this very gifted author.
