Misleading Miss Verity by Carolyn Miller

This is the first novel that I have had the pleasure of reading by this wonderful author. Congratulations to Carolyn Miller on the debut of her third novel in the series-Regency Brides: Daughters of Aynsley.

Her writing style carries the pluck of a Jane Austen novel, and the smoothness of a well-versed history author.

I was delighted by the indomitable Verity Hatherleigh, she is a memorable character as no one dictates what she does nor where she goes. In Misleading Miss Verity, she encounters one mysterious person who isn't what he seems. Anthony Jardine is a match in wits with Verity as he is kind, yet firm, a hero worth reading in this book.

I am not saying anything else about this novel, not for all the coffee in a cute corner coffee shop. Please go get it yourself. It'll leave a smile on your face and a sigh on your lips. I for one need to go get the rest of the books in the series. Lovers of Regency fiction and romance enjoy this read. Happy reading friends!!
